16. Every person entitled to vote under the act governing the municipality and not legally deprived of that right, except a trade-union, company or corporation, commercial partnership, association, cooperative or other artificial person, has the right to vote at the election of the mayor and of a councillor.

Every person entitled to vote under the act governing the municipality and not legally deprived of that right, except a trade-union, company or corporation, commercial partnership, association, cooperative or other artificial person, has the right to vote at the election of the mayor and of a councillor.
This section does not deprive a trade-union, company, corporation, commercial partnership, association, cooperative or other artificial person of its right to be entered on the electoral list of the municipality, for any purpose other than the election for members of the council, under the rules provided by the act governing the municipality, mutatismutandis.
