12. (Repealed).

12. The Government may, by letters patent under the great seal, establish corporations for the advancement of research and technology.
The Minister shall table in the National Assembly an order authorizing the issue of letters patent contemplated in the first paragraph within 30 days of making the order if the Assembly is sitting or, if it is not sitting, within 30 days of the opening of the next session or of resumption.
The President of the Assembly shall, within 60 days from the tabling of the order, convene the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to examine it.
The name of a corporation and its organization, the appointment of its members and their terms of office, remuneration, social benefits and other conditions of employment are determined by the Government.
Notice of the establishment of a corporation under this section is published in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
