D-7 - Act respecting municipal debts and loans

20. A municipality may, by a by-law requiring only the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy, effect any loan required for redemption under this division.
The amount of such loans shall not exceed the face value of the bonds or debentures to be redeemed.

20. A municipal corporation may, by a by-law approved by the Commission municipale du Québec and by the Minister of Municipal Affairs, effect any loan required for such redemption, without the necessity, in any case, of it being voted upon by the elector-proprietors.
In the case of a school corporation, such a loan may be effected with the authorization of the Minister of Education.
The amount of such loans shall not exceed the face value of the bonds or debentures to be redeemed.

20. A municipal corporation may, by a by-law approved by the Commission municipale du Québec and by the Minister of Municipal Affairs, effect any loan required for such redemption, without the necessity, in any case, of it being voted upon by the elector-proprietors.
In the case of a school corporation, such loan may be effected by resolution approved by the Commission municipale du Québec, as well as by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and the Minister of Education, without being bound to give the notices prescribed by section 293 of the Education Act (chapter I-14).
The amount of such loans shall not exceed the face value of the bonds or debentures to be redeemed.
