9. Elections for the office of president shall be held every four years on the first Monday in October if the president is elected by a general vote of the members entered on the roll, or at the first meeting of the board of directors after that date if the president is elected by the directors.
When the president is elected by the directors, the board of directors shall be deemed to be regularly constituted, notwithstanding that the number of directors is reduced by one.
The president is elected for a term of four years and may not serve more than two consecutive terms.
