14. Every member of a partnership, or person doing business under a copartnership style, failing to comply with the provisions of this division, and every married person doing business as a trader, whether alone or in partnership with others, failing to comply with the provisions of the third paragraph of article 1834 of the Civil Code, shall be liable to a fine of not more than $100.

14. Every member of a partnership, or person doing business under a copartnership style, failing to comply with the provisions of this division, and every married person doing business as a trader, whether alone or in partnership with others, failing to comply with the provisions of the third paragraph of article 1834 of the Civil Code, shall be liable to a fine of not more than $100.
Penal proceedings with a view to imposing a sanction for an offence under any provision of this Act may be instituted by the Attorney General or by any board of trade that is legally constituted; the fine belongs to the prosecutor.

14. Every member of a partnership, or person doing business under a copartnership style, failing to comply with the provisions of this division, and every married person doing business as a trader, whether alone or in partnership with others, failing to comply with the provisions of the third paragraph of article 1834 of the Civil Code, shall be liable to a fine of not more than $100, to be recovered before any court of competent civil jurisdiction by the Attorney General in the name of Her Majesty or by any legally constituted board of trade.
