60. Before entering into office, the clerk and, where such is the case, the deputy clerk shall make the following oath: “I declare under oath that I will faithfully and honestly, to the best of my knowledge and abilities, fulfil all the duties and functions of clerk (or deputy clerk) of a municipal court”.
The oath shall be taken before a person authorized to receive the taking of the oath under Part IV of the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16); the document evidencing the oath shall be kept in the court office.

60. Before entering into office, the clerk and, where such is the case, the deputy clerk shall make the following oath or solemn declaration: “I swear (or solemnly affirm) that I will faithfully and honestly, to the best of my knowledge and abilities, fulfil all the duties and functions of clerk (or deputy clerk) of a municipal court”.
The oath shall be taken or the declaration made before a person authorized to receive the taking of the oath under Part IV of the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16); the document evidencing the oath or declaration shall be kept in the court office.
