C-61.1 - Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife

68. In the cases described in section 67 or where an animal has been found or accidentally killed or captured, a person shall, without delay,
(1)  if it is unharmed and alive, set it free or dispose of it according to the conditions determined by regulation of the Minister;
(2)  if it is wounded or dead, declare the fact to a wildlife protection officer and, if he requires, deliver it to him so he may confiscate it.

68. In the case provided for in section 67 or in the case of an animal that has been found or an animal that has been killed or captured by accident, a person shall, without delay, in the case of an animal determined by regulation,
(1)  if it is unharmed and alive, set it free;
(2)  if it is wounded or dead, declare the fact to a protection officer and, if he requires, deliver it to him so he may confiscate it.
