48. (Repealed).

48. The by-laws, procès-verbaux, orders, lists, rolls or other municipal acts which governed the territory before its annexation, the alteration of its boundaries, or its organization as a new municipality, continue in force for such territory until repealed or amended, subject to Chapter IV of this Title; those which governed the municipality before the annexation do not apply to the annexed territory until they have been declared applicable to it.
