179. Every municipality must have an officer entrusted with the care of its office and archives, and such officer is designated by the name of “clerk-treasurer”.

179. Every corporation must have an officer entrusted with the care of its office and archives, and such officer is designated by the name of “secretary-treasurer”.

179. Every corporation must have an officer entrusted with the care of its office and archives, and such officer is designated by the name of “secretary-treasurer”.
In every newly formed municipality, the secretary-treasurer must be appointed by the corporation within 30 days after the entry into office of the majority of the members of the new council.
