147. Before the expiry of the delay given to the defendant for appearance, the plaintiff must file in the office of the court the written proofs which he has alleged in support of his demand, together with an inventory thereof. If he does so afterwards, he must give notice to the defendant and the delay for contestation only runs from the date of such notice.
