92. The court may, at its discretion, condemn the offender to the payment of the costs only, for the following offences, to wit:
(1)  Using a motor vehicle on a public highway when the certificate of registration or the certificate of insurance or of financial responsibility contemplated in sections 97 and 102 of the Automobile Insurance Act is not carried therein so as to be exhibited at the request of a person contemplated by subsection 2 of section 26;
(2)  Neglecting to carry his driver’s permit when driving a motor vehicle, in conformity with section 26;
(3)  Refusal by a driver or chauffeur to exhibit his permit or certificate of registration or the certificate of insurance or of financial responsibility provided for in sections 97 and 102 of the Automobile Insurance Act when called upon to do so by a constable, a peace officer, or an officer of the Régie, in conformity with section 26.
