85. Whosoever drives an automobile while his permit is cancelled or suspended shall be guilty of an offence and liable, in addition to the costs, to a fine of $100 to $200 and to imprisonment for not more than fifteen days and, in the case of a subsequent offence within two years, he shall be liable, in addition to the costs, to a fine of $200 to $400 and to imprisonment for eight to thirty days.
