62. (1)  The chauffeur of an autobus must:
(a)  be of full age;
(b)  have demonstrated in a practical test before an authorized officer of the Régie that he is competent to drive an autobus;
(c)  be of sober habits;
(d)  refuse to speak to the passengers, except to advise them of the movements of the vehicle, or for any urgent reason;
(e)  have enough space at his disposal to manoeuvre;
(f)  refuse admission to any person in a state of intoxication, or eject such person;
(g)  eject any person using obscene language or acting in an obscene manner, or who molests other passengers;
(h)  stop the autobus on the right side of the road, and not in the centre, to allow passengers to board or leave the autobus;
(i)  refrain from driving for more than ten hours per twenty-four hours, unless he has rested for eight consecutive hours within the said period of twenty-four hours; but at no time shall a chauffeur drive for more than sixty hours in one week.
(2)  The chauffeur of an autobus used in transporting school children must, in addition to the requirements of sub-paragraphs a, b, c, d, e, h and i of subsection 1 of this section,
(a)  be able to furnish his employer each year with a certificate of health and good behaviour;
(b)  never accept more passengers than there are seats available or than there is space to seat all the school children;
(c)  carefully watch over the safety of his passengers at all times.
(3)  The chauffeur of a delivery vehicle must:
(a)  be of full age;
(b)  have demonstrated in a practical test before an authorized officer of the Régie that he is competent to drive a delivery vehicle;
(c)  be of sober habits;
(d)  have enough space at his disposal for his operations;
(e)  stop his vehicle on the right side of the road and not in the centre, to take on or deliver a load;
(f)  refrain from driving for more than twelve hours per twenty-four hours, unless he has rested for eight consecutive hours within the said period of twenty-four hours; but at no time shall a chauffeur drive for more than seventy-two hours in one week.
The provisions of subsections 1, 2 and 3 of this section relating to the limitation of working hours for autobus chauffeurs or drivers shall not apply to a service engaged exclusively in the public transportation of passengers in a town, city or urban territory. In such case, every autobus chauffeur or driver must refrain from driving such vehicle over a distance exceeding 400 km per twenty-four hours.
Shall be equally guilty with the chauffeur or driver in his employ and shall be liable to the same penalties, as determined in section 89, any owner of a transportation business who permits or tolerates his employer to commit or who incites him to commit an infringement of the provisions of this section relating to the maximum daily working time for autobus or delivery car chauffeurs or drivers or relating to the maximum distance of 400 km fixed in the preceding paragraph.
