20. No person shall keep a garage except after obtaining from the Régie a licence to that effect, and furnishing to the Régie a certificate of liability insurance, for himself and the persons under his authority, relating to the property damage caused by automobiles entrusted to him by reason of his duties or ordinary activities, and upon paying to the Régie a fee of $25.
The insurance provided for in this section must cover, in the manner provided in the Automobile Insurance Act, liability resulting from their own fault.

The fee provided for in this section was replaced by R.R.Q., 1981, c. C-24, r. 16, which was replaced by O.C. 3091-82 of 82.12.21 (1982) 114 G.O. 2, 3761 and by O.C. 612-84 of 84.03.14 (1984) 116 G.O. 2, 1292.

No person shall keep a garage except after obtaining from the Bureau a licence to that effect, and furnishing to the Bureau a certificate of liability insurance, for himself and the persons under his authority, relating to the property damage caused by automobiles entrusted to him by reason of his duties or ordinary activities, and upon paying to the Bureau a fee of twenty-five dollars.
The insurance provided for in this section must cover, in the manner provided in the Automobile Insurance Act, liability resulting from their own fault.

20. No person shall keep a garage without having obtained from the Bureau a license to that effect, upon payment to the Bureau of the following fees:
(1)  If the garage be situated in the cities of Québec, Montréal, Westmount, Outremont, Verdun or Lachine, twenty dollars;
(2)  If it be situated in any other city, ten dollars;
(3)  If it be situated in any other municipality, five dollars; and unless such license be in force.
