14. In the case of the first registration, every motorized bicycle other than one envisaged in section 13 must be registered as a moped in accordance with sections 6 to 12,
(a)  which does not weigh more than 55 kg; and
(b)  (paragraph repealed);
(c)  which is provided with an automatic transmission.

14. In the case of the first registration, every motorized bicycle other than one envisaged in section 13 must be registered as a moped in accordance with sections 6 to 12,
(a)  which does not weigh more than one hundred and twenty pounds; and
(b)  (paragraph repealed);
(c)  which is provided with an automatic transmission.

(b)  which is provided with pedals to be used as crank gear and operable at all times to assist the motor; and
(c)  which is provided with an automatic transmission.

14. Effective 1 January 1975, every motorized bicycle other than one envisaged in section 13 must be registered as a “moped”, in accordance with sections 6 to 12.
However, the bicycle envisaged in section 13 is governed, with respect to lights, brakes and mudguards, by the provisions applicable to the bicycle envisaged in this section.
