13. In the case of the first registration, every motorized two-wheeled vehicle must be registered as a motorcycle in accordance with sections 6 to 12 and classified as a motorcycle for the purposes of this Code,
(a)  which is provided with a motor having a piston displacement of more than 50 cm3 and
(b)  which has sufficient power to attain, on the level, a speed greater than 45 km per hour when driven by a person weighing 60 kg.

13. In the case of the first registration, every motorized two-wheeled vehicle must be registered as a motorcycle in accordance with sections 6 to 12 and classified as a motorcycle for the purposes of this Code,
(a)  which is provided with a motor having a piston displacement of more than fifty cubic centimetres, and
(b)  which has sufficient power to attain, on the level, a speed greater than forty-five kilometres per hour when driven by a person weighing one hundred and thirty pounds.

13. Effective 1 January 1975, every motorized bicycle must be registered as a “motorcycle” in accordance with sections 6 to 12 and assimilated to a motorcycle for the purposes of this Code,
(a)  which is provided with a motor having a piston displacement of more than fifty cubic centimetres or
(b)  which has sufficient power to attain, on the level, a speed greater than twenty-eight miles per hour when driven by a person weighing one hundred and thirty pounds.
