32. Every person driving a road vehicle on a public highway must have with him, in addition to the documents contemplated in section 87, the registration certificate of the vehicle and the certificate of insurance or of financial responsibility provided for by the Automobile Insurance Act (chapter A-25).
If the road vehicle is leased for less than one year or if it has been lent by a dealer, the person driving it on a public highway must also have with him the contract of lease or a copy thereof, or a document evidencing the duration of the loan.
