56. (Repealed).

56. (1)  Such by-laws, when so confirmed, shall be binding upon and be observed by all persons mentioned in section 52, and shall be sufficient to justify all persons acting under the same.
(2)  Proof that a printed paper or painted board, containing a copy of such by-laws, was affixed or placed and continued in the manner directed by section 55 and, in case of its being afterwards displaced or damaged, then that such paper or board was replaced as soon as conveniently could be, shall be sufficiently evidence of the publication of any such by-laws affecting only another railway company using the railway.
