158. (1)  The company may refuse to take any package or parcel which it suspects to contain goods of a dangerous nature, or may require the same to be opened to ascertain the fact.

158. (1)  The company may refuse to take any package or parcel which it suspects to contain goods of a dangerous nature, or may require the same to be opened to ascertain the fact.
(2)  The company shall not carry any such goods, otherwise than in cars specially set apart for the same; and upon both sides of each of such cars the words “Dangerous Explosives” shall be painted in large letters.
(3)  Each time that the company fails to comply with the present provisions, it shall be liable to a fine of $500 in favor of whomsoever may sue for the recovery thereof.
