116. The ascent to all bridges erected to carry any highway over any railway shall not be more than thirty centimetres in six metres increase over the natural ascent of the highway, and a good and sufficient fence shall be built on each side of the bridge, which shall not be less than one hundred and twenty centimetres above the surface of the bridge.
