50. The first and third paragraphs of section 48 and section 49 apply also in relation to all immovables or parts of immovables situated in a protected area upon each owner’s being sent a notice from the Minister informing him that the whole or part of his immovable is situated in the protected area of a classified historic monument and that the notice has been registered in the land register.

50. The first and third paragraphs of section 48 and section 49 apply also in relation to all immovables or parts of immovables situated in a protected area upon each owner’s being sent a notice from the Minister informing him that the whole or part of his immovable is situated in the protected area of a classified historic monument and that a copy of the notice has been registered by deposit in the registry office of the registration division where the immovable is situated.

50. Notwithstanding any general law or special act, no posting or alteration or demolition of any sign or billboard shall be made in any historic or natural district, on any classified historic site or in any protected area without the authorization of the Minister, who shall obtain the advice of the Commission.
The second paragraph of section 48 and section 49 apply mutatismutandis to the operations referred to in the first paragraph.
