43. Subject to sections 50 to 54, to be admitted to the Bar as a practising advocate, a person must:
(a)  (paragraph repealed);
(b)  (paragraph repealed);
(c)  (paragraph repealed);
(d)  have successfully undergone professional training under the conditions prescribed by by-law;
(e)  (paragraph repealed);
(f)  (paragraph repealed);
(g)  (paragraph repealed).

43. Subject to sections 50 to 54, to be admitted to the Bar as a practising advocate, a person must:
(a)  be a Canadian citizen;
(b)  be of the age of majority;
(c)  hold a degree recognized as valid for the purpose by regulation of the Government made under subparagraph a of the first paragraph of section 184 of the Professional Code (chapter C-26) or considered equivalent by the General Council in a regulation made pursuant to paragraph c of section 93 of the said Code;
(d)  have successfully undergone professional training under the conditions prescribed by by-law;
(e)  (paragraph repealed);
(f)  (paragraph repealed);
(g)  (paragraph repealed).
The person so admitted may be entered on the Roll only after taking the oaths of allegiance and office prescribed by the Act and the by-laws and paying the exigible contributions.

(e)  have passed the examination for admission;
(f)  have taken the oaths of allegiance and office prescribed by the Act and the by-laws;
(g)  have paid the contributions exigible.
