9.1. The documents emanating from the department in the custody or possession of financial institutions may be photographically reproduced and be destroyed within the period provided in the retention schedule contemplated in the Archives Act (chapter A-21.1) if the Minister authorizes their destruction.

9.1. The Photographic Proof of Documents Act (chapter P-22) applies to documents emanating from the department in the custody or possession of financial institutions. The documents may, however, be photographically reproduced and be destroyed within the period provided in the retention schedule contemplated in the Archives Act (chapter A-21.1) if the Minister authorizes their destruction.

9.1. Notwithstanding the time limit provided for by section 2 of the Photographic Proof of Documents Act (chapter P-22), any document kept by the department or in its possession may be destroyed as soon as it has been reproduced.
The same applies to documents emanating from the department and kept by or in the possession of a financial institution, provided their destruction is authorized by the Minister.
