37. Notwithstanding the provisions of the second paragraph of section 86 of the Professional Code (chapter C-26), the first resolution passed by the Bureau for the purpose of fixing the first annual assessment, payable in particular by persons to whom section 29 applies, need not, to come into force, be approved by a majority of the members of the Order. However, the amount of the first assessment shall not be greater than the sum fixed by the Bureau of the Collège des médecins du Québec pursuant to paragraph 5 of section 4 of the Regulation and payment of which is required, in 1994, for the purposes of entry on the register of acupuncturists.
