96. A minimum of 500 persons are required to sign a memorandum of constitution of a mutual benefit association, in duplicate and before witnesses.

96. A minimum of 500 persons are required to sign a memorandum of incorporation of a mutual benefit association, in duplicate and before witnesses.

96. Persons wishing to form an association contemplated in section 95 must sign a memorandum of incorporation, in duplicate and before witnesses.
In the case of a mutual fire-insurance association, the memorandum must be signed by at least two hundred persons resident in Québec who own immoveables in the county municipality for which the incorporation of the association is sought.
In the case of a mutual benefit association, the memorandum must be signed by at least five hundred persons.
