63. The members, officers and employees of the Board and the members and employees of a revisory committee established under section 41 and of a council of arbitration contemplated by section 54 shall not reveal, otherwise than in accordance with article 283 of the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25.01), information obtained for the carrying out of this Act.
However, a person referred to in the first paragraph may, in order to prevent an act of violence, including a suicide, release information in accordance with the provisions of sections 59.1 and 60.1 of the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (chapter A-2.1).

On request, such a person must send the information concerning a health and social service provider entered in the register of health and social service providers that the Board is required to establish and update under subparagraph h.0.1 of the second paragraph of section 2 of the Act respecting the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (chapter R-5) to a person holding a certificate issued in accordance with section 520.3.3 of the Act respecting health services and social services (chapter S-4.2). That person must also, on request, let the Minister know whether a person is entered in the register of health and social service providers and inform the Minister of any changes made to the register that concern a health and social service provider.
Not in force
Such a person must, also for the purposes of subparagraph h.4 of the second paragraph of section 2 and section 2.0.2 of the Act respecting the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec, forward to the agencies or institutions referred to in section 520.7 of the Act respecting health services and social services the information referred to in subparagraph 6 of the first paragraph of section 520.9 of this Act and collected by the Board from pharmacists practising in community pharmacies.
Furthermore, such a person may, for the purposes of section 520.3.12 of the Act respecting health services and social services, forward to the certification service provider information contained in the register of health and social service providers the Board is required to establish and keep up to date in accordance with subparagraph h.0.1 of the second paragraph of section 2 of the Act respecting the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec.
Not in force
That person may also send an agency or an institution referred to in section 520.7 of the Act respecting health services and social services the information provided for in the fifth paragraph of section 65 of this Act, to ensure that the information it stores referred to in subparagraph 1 of the first paragraph of section 520.9 of the Act respecting health services and social services is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
Not in force
Such a person may also send a health communication centre established in accordance with the Act respecting pre-hospital emergency services (chapter S-6.2) the information referred to in subparagraph 1 of the first paragraph of section 520.9 of the Act respecting health services and social services, for the purposes of the functions set out in the first paragraph of section 22 of the Act respecting pre-hospital emergency services. In addition, such a person may send the same information to a midwife or a podiatrist who operates a private health facility within the meaning of the second paragraph of section 95 of the Act respecting health services and social services, for storage purposes.

That person may also send an agency or an institution referred to in section 520.7 of the Act respecting health services and social services the information provided for in the fifth paragraph of section 65 of this Act, to ensure that the information it stores referred to in subparagraph 1 of the first paragraph of section 520.9 of the Act respecting health services and social services is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
