A-28 - Hospital Insurance Act

8. The Government, by regulation in conformity with the foregoing provisions, may:
(a)  establish the plan for the carrying out of this Act;
(b)  define residents of Québec, the insured services to be furnished to them and the other insured persons;
(c)  (paragraph repealed);
(d)  rule upon any other matter requisite for the carrying out of this Act or of an agreement.

8. The Government, by regulation in conformity with the foregoing provisions, may:
(a)  establish the plan for the carrying out of this act;
(b)  define residents of Québec, the insured services to be furnished to them and the other insured persons;
(c)  determine the conditions of the contracts to be made with the hospital centres including especially the standards to be maintained and the supervision to be exercised therein, the admission and discharge of patients, the records and accounts to be kept, the inspection and audit to be made;
(d)  rule upon any other matter requisite for the carrying out of this act or of an agreement.
