83.64. Where, by reason of an accident, a person is entitled to both an indemnity under this title and financial assistance under the Act to promote good citizenship (chapter C-20) or the Act to assist persons who are victims of criminal offences and to facilitate their recovery (chapter P-9.2.1), that person may elect to avail himself of the compensation provided for by this title or claim the indemnity or benefit.
Compensation under the Act to promote good citizenship or the Act to assist persons who are victims of criminal offences and to facilitate their recovery sets aside any right to compensation under this title.

Compensation under the Act to promote good citizenship or the Crime Victims Compensation Act sets aside any right to compensation under this title.
