1985, c. 6, s. 487; 1989, c. 15, s. 1.
18.4. Where a person referred to in section 18.2 claims an income replacement indemnity under the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases (chapter A-3.001) or an annuity for total disability under the Act to promote good citizenship (chapter C-20) or the Crime Victims Compensation Act (chapter I-6), the Régie and the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail, in carrying out the agreement referred to in section 18.3, shall render a joint decision to distinguish the damages resulting from each event and determine the consequential entitlement to the benefits payable under each of the Acts applicable.
A person who believes he has been wronged by a decision under the first paragraph may elect to bring an appeal under this Act, or under the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases, the Act to promote good citizenship or the Crime Victims Compensation Act, as the case may be.
An appeal brought under any of the Acts referred to in the first paragraph sets aside any appeal under any other of those Acts and the decision rendered in appeal binds both bodies.
