18.2. If a person receives an income replacement indemnity under this title and claims, by reason of a new event, an income replacement indemnity under the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases (chapter A-3.001), or an annuity for total disability under the Act to promote good citizenship (chapter C-20) or the Crime Victims Compensation Act (chapter I-6), he is not entitled to receive both one and the other indemnity during the same period.
The Régie shall continue to pay the income replacement indemnity, if necessary, until the entitlement to and the amount of the benefits payable under each of the Acts applicable is determined.
