18.1. Where, by reason of bodily injury caused by an automobile, a person is entitled to both any benefit or compensation under the Act to promote good citizenship (chapter C-20) or the Crime Victims Compensation Act (chapter I-6) and the indemnity under this title, that person may elect to claim benefit or compensation under such Act or avail himself of the indemnity provided for in this title.
Compensation under the Act to promote good citizenship or the Crime Victims Compensation Act sets aside any right to compensation under this title.
