76. Where a legal person is guilty of an offence against this Act, every director or representative of the legal person who had knowledge of the said offence is a party to the offence and is liable to a penalty equal to the penalty prescribed for that offence, unless he establishes to the satisfaction of the court that he did not acquiesce in the commission of such offence.
