50. In the interval between the adoption of the draft by-law and the adoption of the by-law, the council of the responsible body may request the Minister’s opinion on the proposed amendment.
The secretary shall notify to the Minister a certified copy of the resolution setting out the request.
The Minister shall notify the responsible body in writing of the date on which the Minister received the copy of the resolution.

The secretary-treasurer shall serve on the Minister a certified copy of the resolution setting out the request.
The Minister shall notify, in writing, the regional county municipality of the date on which he received the copy.

50. Where the resolution of the council of the regional county municipality indicates that the amendment envisaged will not affect the objectives of the development plan or the complementary document, the secretary-treasurer must, within fifteen days of the passing of the resolution provided for in section 48, publish, in a newspaper circulated in the whole territory of the regional county municipality, a notice of the passing of the resolution. That notice must indicate that a copy of the resolution is available for inspection at the office of each municipality in the territory of the regional county municipality.
