45. A victim is entitled to an income replacement indemnity for such time as he is, although entitled thereto, deprived of unemployment insurance benefits paid under the Unemployment Insurance Act (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, chapter U-1) or allowances paid under the National Training Act (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, chapter N-19).
The indemnity is computed on the basis of the benefits or allowances that would have been paid to him. Such benefits or allowances are deemed to be his gross income.
