3.9.18. Ladder jack scaffolding: Any ladder jack scaffolding shall be used by one worker at a time and in the following conditions:
(a) on ladders which are securely fixed in position at top and bottom;
(b) if the distance between the ladders is not more than 3 m;
(c) if the falling height is not more than 3 m; and
(d) if the platform is so supported that the load is transmitted to the rails and not to the rungs.
