25. A broker must notify in writing the parties represented as soon as the broker ceases to act for his or her own account. Except in regard to a mortgage brokerage contract, the notice must state the right of the parties either to continue to deal with the broker if the broker is subsequently acting for an agency, with the name of the agency, or to terminate the brokerage contract.
