Government Departments Act

1. The following departments are constituted for the administration of the affairs of the Province:

(1)  The Ministère du Conseil exécutif, presided over by the Prime Minister;

(2)  The Ministère de la Justice, presided over by the Minister of Justice;

(3)  The Ministère des Relations internationales, presided over by the Minister of International Relations;

(4)  The Ministère de la Culture et des Communications, presided over by the Minister of Culture and Communications;

(5)  The Ministère des Finances, presided over by the Minister of Finance;

(6)  The Ministère du Revenu, presided over by the Minister of Revenue;

(7)  The Ministère des Ressources naturelles, de la Faune et des Parcs, presided over by the Minister of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Parks;

The Minister of Education is designated under the name of Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports. The Ministère de l’Éducation is designated under the name of Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport. Order in Council 120-2005 dated 18 February 2005, (2005) 137 G.O. 2 (French), 874.

The Minister of Economic and Regional Development and Research is designated under the name of Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade. The Ministère du Développement économique et régional et de la Recherche is designated under the name of Ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l’Exportation. Order in Council 122-2005 dated 18 February 2005, (2005) 137 G.O. 2 (French), 875.

The Minister of the Environment is designated under the name of Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks. The Ministère de l’Environnement is designated under the name of Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs. The Minister of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Parks is designated under the name of Minister of Natural Resources and Wildlife. The Ministère des Ressources naturelles, de la Faune et des Parcs is designated under the name of Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune. The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Sports and Recreation is designated under the name of Minister of Municipal Affairs and Regions. The Ministère des Affaires municipales, du Sport et du Loisir is designated under the name of Ministère des Affaires municipales et des Régions. The Minister of Relations with the Citizens and Immigration is designated under the name of Minister of Immigration and Cultural Communities. The Ministère des Relations avec les citoyens et de l’Immigration is designated under the name of Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles. REPEAL SCHEDULE

In accordance with section 17 of the Act respecting the consolidation of the statutes (chapter R-3), chapter 15 of the Revised Statutes, 1964, in force on 31 December 1977, is repealed effective from the coming into force of chapter M-34 of the Revised Statutes.
