Act respecting caisses d’établissement

1. Every savings and credit union governed by the Savings and Credit Unions Act (chapter C-4) whose name includes the expression “caisse d’établissement” may, in order to contribute to the establishment of its members, act as a broker for the purpose of obtaining loans of money for them or act on their behalf as a broker within the meaning of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (chapter C-73).

2. To exercise such powers, such union must comply with the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

REPEAL SCHEDULE

In accordance with section 17 of the Act respecting the consolidation of the statutes (chapter R-3), chapter 71 of the statutes of 1969, in force on 31 December 1977, is repealed, except section 3, effective from the coming into force of chapter C-5 of the Revised Statutes.
