Regulation dividing Québec into regions for the purposes of elections to the board of directors of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec

1. In order to ensure adequate regional representation on the board of directors of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec, Québec is divided into 2 regions:
(a)  the Montréal region;
(b)  the region comprising the rest of Québec.

2. The Montréal region comprises region 06 the territory of which is described in the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec (chapter D-11, r. 1).
The region comprising the rest of Québec includes the other 16 regions, the territory of which is described in the Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec.

3. Four directors shall be elected to represent the Montréal region and 2 for the region comprising the rest of Québec.

4. A podiatrist shall vote in the region in which he has his professional domicile for the candidates of that region. He shall vote, in addition, for a candidate for the office of president where the latter is elected by a general vote.

5. If the president is elected by a general vote, the board of directors shall consist of 9 persons including the president.
If the president is elected by a vote of the elected directors, the board of directors shall consist of 8 persons including the president.
